ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must:-

• be graduating from Park Rapids Area High School
• plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the Fall following graduation
• applicants must be customers of State Bank of Park Rapids

AWARDS:
Consideration will be given to past academic performance and future potential, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, and unusual personal or family circumstances.

• award amounts may vary.  2007-2008, they were $8000 awards. 2009 was a $4000 award.

• awards are renewable up to three years or until a bachelor's degree is obtained, whichever occurs first, on the basis of satisfactory academic performance and maintaining full-time enrollment

• awards are for undergraduate study only

• financial need will not be considered

Applications are available at State Bank of Park Rapids early February. Applications must be postmarked by March 15. (applications are mailed to Scholarship America - address is on the application) Recipient(s) will be notified by mid-May.
